Is Chess Bad for your Brain?

Since had answered via 'alerts' (ie: few posts back). No way can explain it now M.I.L.
Would just dig deeper-hole for myself! :)

You're right. Some things are best just forgotten ... like the series of moves I've made in my last few games ... ...

What if it's merely a coma?
It is important to remember comas. They can change the whole meaning of a sentence.

A comma or a semi-colon?
Are semi-colons the small ones? Also, on a somewhat related topic, do I have too much time on my hands?

Is it possible to revive a dead thread? I await with interest.
I think that's a "no" then,comas ,parentheses and all.

N.SHORT: I play way too much blitz chess. It rots the brain just as surely as alcohol.
Am speculating here ... might you have done extensive research comparing the two? Just wondering.... ...

You would have to do a double blind study, with and without alcohol, previous indication of brain rot, and of course number of comas.I would be willing to volunteer (usual fee payable in advance)
Even though it says round 3, it shouts round two...
Good one! And "There's a game?" is another good one.... so that makes two good ones .... count 'em -- two!
Wait ... now that I notice the subject matter of this thread, I'm inclined to think we're all supporting the "yes" answer to this forum question. But it may need more support. It's a heavy topic. Sometimes things that are really heavy need a lot of support.
