And this is going to sound insane, but do you know who I blame, men and women (bless their hearts) who write books such as Think Like A Man, Act Like A Woman. Steve Harvey is not the only culprit here. It's almost every piece of media that you are buying for yourself and your little ones.
Love is not a game, and it's definitely not a bunch of ridiculous guidelines and rules for goodness sakes. With that said, congratulations to those people for their No.1 sellers, and for making good out of them. A book is just a book, the choice is yours.

In all fairness, most of these books have helped a lot of people. There are some hopeless souls out there without a clue as to how they should express their love in a way that will be well received. They open a chapter, and in turn a new chapter is written in their life. That is good. So I guess what I really meant to say was that we shouldn't lose sight of objectivity. It's beautiful that there are ways out there to help express ourselves, but we kill that notion when we take those opinions and impose them on others.
