Yes this is a continuation of the original thread but the OP seems to show no signs of blocking the kids there so hence the creation of this thread. Its not a chess discussion, that's why its in off-topic. If you are a mature adult and you want to follow the virus, feel free to post anything pertinent to our unpresedented situation. As the OP, I can allow a small, minor degree of politics in your rants but bear in mind I can also be overiden by Staff at any time. Other than that, lets keep it clean, lets keep it civil. Lets help each other get through this. If you see any sign, or article of improvement.....please post it. T.Y. happy.png

If we are not allowed to make jokes, what is left?

In France no one is allowed to go out of their home since 24 hours without a certificate signed!

All the road are mostly empty all over the country!

100 000 police and military are there just to make sure that this "law" is respected.

They had to do this because too many were not staying home!

No more meeting of friends in the park or in any place!

No more going to visit your friends at their house.

No one outside the EU can enter in France anymore.

300 billions euro to help every one....

No one could should be asked to pay any rent anymore,

No one pay any tax anymore for now and no one should pay their loan to any banks for now.

No taxes of any sort for now for any public services...

The pendulum is swinging. We were told early on that it affects mostly the old. Now, Italy is saying that the young are getting very sick.surprise.png                .https://www.yahoo.com/news/children-coronavirus-research-finds-become-190817242.html                                                                                                                     On a side note......https://www.yahoo.com/news/layoffs-just-starting-forecasts-bleak-191124224.html

Italy charges more than 40,000 people with violating lockdown

Marie-AnneLiz

While millions of Italians have been staying at home since 9 March, when the prime minister, Giuseppe Conte, imposed a national quarantine, a minority of the population have violated rules requiring citizens to venture out only if strictly necessary, such as for work, health-related reasons or grocery shopping.

Italy reported its biggest daily rise in deaths on Wednesday, with 475 new fatalities. The country now has 35,713 cases – approaching half the total for China, which stands at 81,102.

Police stopped and checked 700,000 citizens between 11 and 17 March, 43,000 of whom were found to have violated the decree, which also ordered the closing of shops, bars, restaurants, gyms and swimming pools.

Earlier this week, there was a myth from a French official who tweeted that ibuprophen can make the virus worst...... THIS IS NOT TRUE.                                https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ibuprofen-coronavirus-symptoms-myth/

Here's a myth that I thought was funny...tongue.png....also earlier this week. Somehow, people thought that toilet paper would prevent you from getting the virus.surprise.png  After purchasing EVERYTHING that Cosco had on the shelves.....the paper was being recalled for having the virus in it....shock.png It was all a bunch of malarky like Purell last week.frustrated.png                 https://www.businessinsider.com/costco-toilet-paper-recall-hoax-coronavirus-kirkland-2020-3

if you are over 60 with serious heart, kidney or lung problems, diabetes or are severely malnourished consider not going. but if not, by all means go, ( if you want a real idea if how mild it it then look up stats about covid19 AND COMPARE them to a fever or a cold or whooping cough and notice that covid19 isn't at all as bad is America
