If folk want to embrace a death-cult that's their business, they can believe whatever they want.

What I don't understand is the compulsion of *some* folk to ram their rotten, wretched beliefs down everyone else's throats, and to peddle filthy lies and slander while they're doing it.

Ghost, they can believe what they want, but if they believe something that is giving them false hope (about getting 'in' to heaven) I'm not going to stand around, because I love them, (like Christ) and want them to get saved.

Also, if that article (by your own admission) is 'junk', why did you post it?

That last post reminded me of something.

For those who might be wondering, the term 'div' is in common usage now although it first emerged from London prison slang; dull-witted inmates invariably found themselves doing the most dull-witted job available, fitting dividers inside cardboard boxes. Hence: "...he's a bit of a div" denotes a person who is, erm, intellectually challenged, shall we say.

These two fellas are London boys...

...they never went to prison and as far as I can make out they're not divs either but highly successful musicians.

They wanted to call their jolly little ensemble 'Dead Elvis', but a lawyer from the record company had a quiet word in their ear and apparently said something along the lines of: "Look lads, the Presley estate heaves mucho dinero and they'll sue our arses for sure. We suggest you use a different name." So they relented, titled their first album Dead Elvis instead and chose the moniker Death in Vegas (DiV for short).
