Is there a God?

That wouldn’t need to be, considering God is OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT & OMNIPRESENT.

Take a look at Journey of Souls by Michael Newton and see if it might be of interest to you. Amazon has it in paper book form and also in Kindle form.

Michael Newton hypnotized extremely deeply (3 to 4 hours sessions) over 7000 people during a 40 year period and eventually wrote a book on it.

He was an agnostic and wanted to try to find out. Unlike NDE his sessions go into much more detail about what it is like inside the spirit world itself.

Those under hypnosis said reincarnation is done so as to experience and learn from what can't be experienced in the spirit world. That some souls reincarnate often, but other souls do so  infrequently, preferring to study there more.

Many readers love his book, others don't trust hypnosis.

He wrote a followup book 10 years later (Destiny of Souls) after pressure by readers for even more detail. It doesn't really have new info on the spirit world to offer though, it has sessions that weren't in his first book and is more complete when quoting word by word the sessions.

I would answer the question, but I don’t believe anyone would understand my response.

I will only say this: if Jesus Christ were alive today, he may take one look around chess.com, then promptly leave the site.

There are many things, what you can call God and some of them maybe even exist.

There is one God and yes, He absolutely exists and yes, He does care what happens to us. And let me be the one to say it - Inb4thelock! 🔒

How else would it be possible for the universe to be here?

There are a million ways for existence to exist without an all powerful magical person.

For example, we could say the universe itself is God and is indifferent towards humans... meaning there is no god in the sense of a powerful individual that cares about humans.
We could say God exists as an individual with supernatural powers, but lacks one or more of the following: omnipotence, omniscience, benevolent.

The hyper-specific gods in man made religions are ridiculous, and can't be supported by asking "how else would things exist?"

Saying "I don't know" is psychologically difficult, and evolutionarily impractical (better to make up superstitions that help you grow crops, hunt food, and stay healthy).

Which is what religions is... a bunch of heuristics... sometimes literally to stay healthy in the stone age long before we knew germs existed.

Why would holy scripture give rules about how to eat meat and wash your hands? Well of course God doesn't care about pork, that's laughable, but stone age humans had good reason to care about not getting sick, so they wrote down their silly little rules, and without understanding the natural causes for why they worked, they attributed the success to supernatural origins.

Luckily most religious people don't actually believe in God. They go to church on Sunday as a social activity. When they say they believe what they really mean is "I'm a nice person who cares about others."

If they actually believed the creator of the freaking universe was interested in them personally, and that eternal reward / punishment existed, then they'd all be 100% devoted missionaries 100% of the time, because this life is nothing compared to eternity. They wouldn't have jobs, they wouldn't care much about money or family or friends... in fact this was the tone of Paul's letters, he was telling people to forget about all that worldly stuff like family and money because in that time really believed Jesus would come back in their lifetime and the world would end... turns out that didn't happen. You'd think 2000 years of no-showing would clue people in on how made up it all is.
