Issue with iPad app

Not sure where to post this ...but strange - I am playing black pieces ...but the app shows that I am playing white!!!
I have updated the app and it is still the same

The iPhone/iPad app was recently updated. The opponent’s pieces that you capture are now displayed on your side of the board.
