After locking my thread about Diakonia being a troll, I got directed to speak to him. He didn't respond for like 18 hours. What's worse, he was online for all 18 hours! God! Troll much?

After eventually responding, it took him another hour to respond to a follow up question. Then I asked him another question. That was 3 hours ago. I'm still waiting. And he's still online!

No one has explained me yet how Diakonia erased our comments from the face of earth.
I think he got a rage attack or something, we had talked before and he seemed like a nice guy.

That's because the're VERY BUSY PEOPLE. jdcannon is a fighter pilot, a brain surgeon, a father of 14 children, he sells real estate part-time on the weekends. He's a principal of a school for deaf people. In the summer he makes movies in Hollywood. He serves on The World Court in the Hague, and this weekend he's exploring the South Pole.

I have no problem with jd. At times he seems a bit too eager to be a people-pleaser, which can come off as inauthentic, but he gets things done and he is very reasonable about his decisions.
I assure you he is keeping the mods in line when they do something wrong. I assure you that more happened behind the scenes than you realize regarding recent incidents. That's all I can say.

Now you are also joining the chess.com team? We want to see Diakonia pay for his crimes.
You know, I promised jd I would keep my conversation with him private, now I'm not sure why I agreed to that. I don't agree at all with that policy and even told him it would do more harm than good to keep it private. Now look at this thread. I might have been right.
He assured me something like that wouldn't happen again. I can only take that to mean that some action was taken, at least in the form of a warning. I take this as a victory because I have low expectations for this site in all honesty.
I would like to see an apology or acknowledgement from diakonia about his actions but I don't expect it. I know what kind of people volunteer to be mods, and they're not the type to admit they were wrong about something.
I don't agree with the way things were handled but within the context of this site I can't hope for anything better. We can all go play somewhere else if we want. I know I won't be purchasing any membership from here at the very least.
