There is another thread about what music people listen to when playing chess. All I want to know is this: How many chess.com players listen, as a matter of principle, to Jethro Tull.

Not me. I like classical.

JETHRO TULL is classical.

What are you talking about? This November I will be going to my 24th Jethro Tull concert.

I KNOW ALL OF THEIR HITS.

And LITP is not their greatest...

C'mon, greater than Aqualung?

Tull never did much for me but to each his own. Blues, rock, jazz for me.

Still going.    Earth Wind & Fire is like that. Its all the're children that's running the band today.

Last I heard the term Jethro Tull no longer exists and Ian will only be touring under his own name.

I don't listen to Tull as a matter of principle, but I still listen to the first four albums now and then.

Burke: That's what I've read too. Anderson does sound a lot more classical these days compared to Aqualung.

Burke: Yes, Ian now just tours under his own name. But it's the same, isn't it?

Avatar of Burke

Well, if you can consider it the same since Martin Barre and most of the others (maybe all, I'm not sure) have left the band.....yes.

Anderson has said that he wants to leave the Tull archive as it is -- intact and as a legacy.
