Anyways real discussion K-pop demon hunters is a peak movie but in cinema and streaming there are two different types of viewers. There’s the animation lovers and the live action watchers.

Animation peeps typically consume eastern contents since they really own that genre. This would include things like one piece, fragrant flower blooms with dignity, freiren, etc.

The other group is the enjoyers of live action stuff. This is definitely a more western dominated field. Enjoyers of this watch shows like cobra Kai, greys anatomy and I guess other stuff.

KPDH is designed as a love letter for animation watchers and it shows in the animation, storytelling, and overall aesthetic. Most people who don’t like it don’t understand how incredible it is to have a western studio make such good animation and story+music.

This movie has defined a divide in movie watcher the animation consumers and the live action consumers.

I'm not a fan either, I only watched it bc my cousin came over and wanted to watch it (she watched 5 times in one day lmbo)

I mean, I don't really like it all that much, song pretty good tbh, but the amount of skips I did because of the cringiness of the plot sort of made it a rating of 8 or 7/10 to me. Pretty good, but has its flaws(my opinion)

KPDH is not a perfect film. It’s a feel good film not a perfectly thought out and deep movie. It’s designed for you to just watch and vibe out to the music and story.

If you skip ‘cringy’ parts you’re probably like 12 or smth. There’s not much that’s that cringy if you’re slightly mature in any aspect.

we all have different levels of cringe and besides the story is kinda good anyway. It's my opinion, and are you a mind reader? DO YOU KNOW WHERE I LIVE OR SOMETHING?

To me, the cringiest part was def the scene where they talk to the demons on the plane.

The demons design in general was mid. I get that they are based on Korean moth but compared to the Saja Boys they look so… Childish
