Happen to agree that this site is not the place for any pictures or comments that are pornographic, not needed ,better kicked off.

What about  avatars showing a degree of violence, bloodied fangs,  weapons , grotesque etc?   Not particularly attractive to anyone surely? Should they be allowed?

What about swearing ?  Is that ok?   Or are some swearwords ok  ( never mind the kids here) or others not ? F word , C word?

Could throw in racism, religious tolerance / or not.

Im sure that whatever the powers that be on this site do that they wont please everybody.

Just want to make the point that the latent violence and angst behind some avatars and personal details given may be more disturbing than a semi naked human being.

ps. Didnt know Kayknight, hope they wanted to contribute more to the site than " annoy".

Erik has some guidelines he wrote in the Community Forum, in a topic called "making the forums better"

If he wants his guidelines to make a difference he must message every mber with them .

The forums were better last week.

Ive actually just read through the guidelines and as this is not ( I presume ) a main public forum, then swearing , or as Erik describes it , "vulgar and offensive language ",  is allowed !  

In that case I have to say I was wrong , and ask folk to ignore that particular point in my comments above.

kaynight, i don't like talking about you in the third person, especially because you hopefully either are, or will be reading this.

So I'd like to say I liked you immediately when we met, and I'll always appreciate it that you and FMnobody really came to my defense on my thread when that person was making violent, obscene threats against my family.

I didn't realize immediately that that person was doing it on a bunch threads, because  I was very new to the Forums.

And I think your one-line style is very cool.

Kaynight closed his account voluntarily, I believe.  So he can return at will.

I hope he does.

It would seem you still have an unhealthy obsession with someone who is no longer here, oh and people's grades as well. Let it go, you know it makes sense.
