Language Learning Strategy

I'm learning Dutch, and I don't know how to go about doing it.  I've checked out a few books from the library, and taken some quizzes online.  I've heard listening to music in the language is helpful, and also doing crossword puzzles.  Reading books in the language and putting sticky notes on objects to learn vocab.  Which strategies are the best?

How old are you? The best strategy is to learn a second language before you're grown up. After that, there usually isn't any "easy" way for most of us to learn another language. BUT you could try determining which method of learning works best for you: the 3 general methods are by reading, by listening and by doing. Try googling "listening vs reading" "how to learn by reading/listening/doing" etc. Better yet, learn how to use search engines to answer these questions:
