I guess you don't understand the gravity of those wars

Wars are just bad and stupid. All wars without an exception. And no sane person would want try to justify what russians do in Ukraine. How you said, talking about what other people did wrong before doesn't give me any right doing wrong things.

But directing that anger to normal people in Russia who just want to play a game of chess with their friends here is also very stupid.
Just imagine for a one second that people would swearing to you because of any war what your government began...
and I understand that it's also an economical war but banning Russian people from a chess site is for economics absolutely irrelevant. More like its having them here usefull because they can read here some opinions and information from the world...
At least if they not gonna be too much disgusted from all that people who swearing them for things they cant change...

There are BRUTAL wars going on right now in africa for territory with human rights abuses eclipsing anything in Ukraine. I wonder why none of you have changed your flags to the flags of those countries?

if you want a honest reason without moral context then its just because Ukraine is much more important than some unknown country in the middle of Africa. Its in Europe, its a big country, it has one of the biggests armies in Europe. It has big agricultural industry. Or more likely it had.. And it's right in the biggest preassure between Russia and NATO...
But you probably already know all of that and you said that only to wait when some emotionally involved people start shouting at you so you could laughed to them and continue shocking them with your cynical opinions...

i am from the czech republic it's not that there would be some fights or something but a lot of refugees from ukraine are going here these days... so yeah its important for us. What i personally do with that? Nothing much.. i once showed the dirrection  some group of them to some train station.. But our goverment spends a lot of money for them and for weapons in Ukraine and i dont see it as my problem.

About the immigration it all depends what kind of immigrants they are.

It's better having here Ukrainians than some people from Africa because Ukrainians just have similar culture as us. Sure it can be a bit problematic. But what do you want we do with them? Do you want send them to the America or what? I doubt so.. anyway what we do here with them is not your problem at all...
