Hello. First of all, I’m not coming back, so I ain’t bumping this, responding to anyone unless you dm me and all. But what I’m about to say I’ve been thinking about for months. It’s the small moments where I have thought about this, and it’s time to get it off my chest.

Why do we live? It’s not a suicide question, it’s a how, a why. Why do a large amount of people continue, when all they know is that it’s only going to get worse. Why do we fight when what we fight for has a limited amount of time, the friends the family, the building, the history. It’s all going away, so why do we continue. I don’t understand what people think here. They never talk about it, but why does everyone just think about making life better. About living, about making more, being stronger. It’s all going away anyway.
And it’s stranger, who learnt and taught. Who found out the survival instincts. Without them, we wouldn’t respirate, we wouldn’t digest, we wouldn’t live. Even now, when gas pumps were first invented, who taught people how to use them. They can’t just magically know can they.

I would just like to say, that this is only the coherent thoughts, a minor 1% in my head, and 50% of my head are these thoughts. Who wrote, taught, first sung, first fought, who made money, who killed animals, who taught as instincts. It’s all in my head.
And a few, or none, might ask. Isn’t this depression, isn’t it suicidal thoughts, questioning why we live? Maybe but I’m telling you right now, suicide is never the answer. For all we know it’s blissful non existence after this, but it could be infinite amounts of bad, and also good. In the end though. Who is putting all the small good things, comparing them to bad, saying there is nothing left, and taking that 50/50 over meh and bad.
Many. So next time, remember this. That life so far, even if only 1% good, has infinite more good than the infinite bad afterlife’s.

I wish I had an answer to this question. I'm a Nihilist, and i think life just exists without a reason, or for a reason that we can't understand no matter how hard we try. We live, because we have to. Because we exist. Because our instincts tell us to. We dont need to know the meaning of life to try to enjoy it, and make the most of our time here.
