Okay we've talked a little about things. I'd like to review what I know. I think that Troy came up with an interesting idea. That there could be a meaning within life that's an objective reality. Such as truth. I'd like to look at that actually. What is truth?

Well for example it's true that rain falls on the earth. That's an absolute fact.
Let's take away all forms of consciousness now. Imagine what that would mean to that reality.
So no one would see or hear the rain. Touch of feel it. Smell the rain.

It's hard to visualise but we can perhaps accept though that the energy that's rain would still exist.
That for me is truth. It's that energy is present in a particular form observing a particular law. It's nothing to do with consciousness.

Hawking said that within the multiverse there will be many universes without life at all.
In these universes gravity will be different along with other forces.
Perhaps it's not only energy that fluctuates but the laws of nature that affect energy.

I appreciate that's hard for the average person to grasp. We are so conditioned into thinking things begin and end.
But think outside of matter. Why should forces that exist apart from matter have a limited life span?

Tom, For your Own sake.. I wouldn't start believing & asserting, that 'Truth'..{esp. of the More important, morality kinds}, are 'ever changing'!?!
I mean, that it's theoratically possible, that one or more cultures, may one day recognize for instance, 'marriages' of let's say, 3 {or more}, people - But, {imho}, that doesn't make it, morally 'truthful'.. much less, advisable!
Same goes, for 'beastiality'..{as an extreme}.. Though, for that matter.. Due to our society's evolved, moral indifference.. Same gender 'marriage'.. {including 'marriage' ceremonies}, are Now, pretty much the norm.. At least, in portions, of the 'USA'.

I mean when a human being genetically engineers that's purposefully acting.
But the human's behaviour is a natural result of causality within nature.
The fact they might act with love is because they've naturally evolved to love.
