That's an interesting concept SA. Morality is constant. Well certainly to deliberately inflict pain horrifies the average person.

But that's because we love SA. Play around with a few chemicals and the human being's capacity to love ceases to exist. It's all within the hands of nature.

So no Troy I don't accept meaning because nature is just doing its thing.

Some things may please us. Inspire us. Thrill us. Satisfy us. Ultimately though it's just causality at work.

Hey guys. Whatever will be will be.

I'd like to look at what is when I have a moment.

It's Not 'chemicals' that are at the 'root' of humans ceasing to 'love.' It was choosing a 'lie' of  ones Own volition, that causes that!

For example.. Common sense, tells me, that there was a time, when 'Hitler' never gave a thought, to people who weren't 'Aryans'..{or 'Germans'}, as being inherently inferior.. and to be Feared.

True.. Hitler's 'brain' undoubtedly changed, as a result, of his new-found 'cause' - But, him believing, in the 'Big Lie' preceded that! ..{to cite, just one 'bad-ass' example}.

I didn't know the following, {about 'Ghandi'}, until a few minutes ago.. But, my respect for him, was raised even more, as a result! - Obviously, there's a point, in Everyone's life, where an important Truth, is a matter of personal ignorance. And, Some men-and-women, go to their 'graves' in varying forms of ignorance - Or even, obnoxious, {going-out-of-their-way}, defiance! o:

I think the Bard has already dealt with this question in Macbeth

Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Everything else is just vanity

You are going back. I warned you about capturing just the words...

You are equating meaning with purpose. That's not it.

I mentioned these 'faces' earlier. And I'd like it if we could all just be ourselves for a while. Take off your 'faces'. Be yourself. Ignore all external influences that might be affecting your main thoughts. Even if it means doing something drastic. I'm going to start, and I want you guys to remove your mental masks and be who you actually are.

What is there behind all the masks?

Troy this tussle. It's interesting no? Like having a philosophical conversation on an ice rink. But you know perhaps it isn't all about words what's happening here. We learn through experiences too and being trolled is certainly that.

Couldn't agree more.

We're doing that anyway, and it's an illusion.

The intellect is too slow to grasp truth, and theorizing about it has little meaning.

A life full of conflict has no meaning. But when there is peace, it signifies something tremendous.

That means one is not happy right now, and starts projecting a better future. And projecting a better future is the reason they're not happy right now!

"Can we do the weekend over? ..I wasn't ready yet."

Avatar of troy7915

Why? It'll be the same result:still not ready, which means doubts in the back of one's mind.
