Anyway he was sharp and enlightened and I'd have loved to see you talk.

I doubt it: the name says it all about the state of mind of such individual.
On the other hand, Carla here enjoyed being called a fox, but that is ok for an attractive woman like herself.
But for a man it's different. It indicates solely manipulation, twisting and hidden intentions, dishonesty: all that is embedded in that self-chosen name.
