life
We've all had deja vu, where we dream something then it happens hours, days, years later. What if all dreams are deja vu, and what we dream and don't do is what happens in the afterlife? That could explain why we can't get severely hurt in dreams; we're already dead. After we die, we live on doing whatever we want, and send messages to our living selves about how great this afterlife is OR how terrible life is, by showing us sad events that they make up, or nightmares. Does anyone else feel like this could be happening? I typically get these nightmares about the types of things only I could think of happening, and I typically remember my dreams. But, I often hadn't thought of that stuff ever happening. Do we live in some sort of time warp we can't explain?
I'd like to see what you guys think about dreams and the afterlife.
If, 'Life' were a 'board game'..{image-linked}. Eg. There are so Many variables/seemingly minor decisions; Of which, where they'll lead.. can't be readily known at the time a decision is required - That perhaps, we're All metaphorical 'horses-with-blinders'.. maneuvering through a life-long obstacle course; Where even if you 'win'.. You may ultimately end up 'losing'.. if your 'value system' was skewed.. Like certain people.. who were/are 'high-profile'.. Mostly successsful, but otherwise corrupt!

I've heard about identical twins knowing the other is suffering an event.
I wonder if that could be true. Telepathy. Maybe
How could there be a value or meaning to anything without an awareness happening?
After that who's experience? I suppose that since we all belong to nature then its nature's consciousness that's relevant.
Let's try to find meaning in that.
Hey Tom-Tom.Talking about Nelson (Mandela) I hope you have seen my posting in our Rugby thread. re the Rugby World Cup Tournament (1995) held in South Africa.Nelson the then President of SA presented the SA Captain with the winners Cup.I have uploaded a photo of the presentation.A great iconic picture. He was a great person who despite his ill-treatment for many years still came out with the philosophy of forgiveness and reconciliation.

I suppose though when we talk of meaning there's a risk of us dictating rather than observing meaning.
I'm just exploring here but take a look at this.
Perhaps it could be argued that both birth and death are meaningful because without either the experience that exists couldn't be known.
Perhaps we people, perhaps because we love, prefer a sanitised version of meaning. A PG version.
Maybe though brutality can be every bit as meaningful in its own way as kindness.
I'm just saying to know the truth we have to try to regard things objectively and not be seduced by tempting visions of falling leaves and snowflakes.
