Longest Word in English and any language

Check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titin  If you scroll down to the section about Linguistic Significance, you can see that the full chemical name is 189,819 letters long!  However as of right now it is still not consiered an official word.  I wonder how long it took to type the chemical name.

The longest word I know in English is floccinausinihilipilification. It is famous for having been used on the floor of the US Senate by octagenarian Sen. Robert Byrd. It beats out antidisestablishmentarianism, which was famous as a quiz show answer on "The 64,000 Dollar Question." Then, of course, there is the Mary Poppins' "supercalifragilisticexpealidocious."

The longest recognized word is Greek, but I can't remember what it is.
