Lucid dreaming is basically being aware that you're dreaming inside of a dream. You can then control the world and do anything you want. Literally! And it's really realistic (it's confusable with real life). Ever wanted to fly? You can do it in a lucid dream. Ever wanted to talk with a celebrity? Lucid dream. And what's cool is that you can also use the time to learn a new skill or something while asleep which is cool! I'm trying to get these dreams but not really succeeding yet. I've had one short one where I got attacked by weird creatures and then I woke up lmao.

well I actually kinda have a hack for these. the only time I ever dream is when I am exhausted. So what I do is I'll go gym, drain myself then have a hot shower and I'll be dead then when I fall asleep I lucid dream. another is to remember your last though before you sleep. after a few days you start to remember your dreams and they become lucid

19 For a before bed approach, use MILD, which is basically reimagining a previous dream you had EXCEPT you became lucid after noticing something weird that happened. Also dream journal in the mornings if nothing else. I’ve had them literally just from dream journaling before. Plus, dream journaling consistently makes your dreams more vivid too which is an added benefit

15 Lucid nightmares are actually quite rare because when you think about it, they don’t make sense. If you know you’re dreaming, what reason do you have to be scared after all?

🎶I still see your shadows in my room, can’t take back the love that I gave you, it’s still the point where I live and I hate you and I cannot change you so I must replace you Oh, easier said than I thought you were the one listing to my heart instead of my head🎶

I’ve had over 10 lucid nightmares In the past 3 years

24 if you aren’t already, dream journal first. Get your dream recall up. I know, it feels like the most boring step and we all love hitting the snooze button when waking up, but if you get in the habit, every other technique becomes like 10x more effective and your dreams become more interesting and vivid as well.

Best thing to do in dreams by far is talking to people for me. You quite literally never know what to expect, it’s always entertaining
Got-Dead

I once learned that I was dreaming during a dream, and then the fake dream people inside the dream gaslit me into forgetting that I was in a dream

33 I fell into the same habit when I first started. I’m currently trying to get back into it, since dream journaling is great for so many other reasons besides LDing as well. Maybe try writing a note and taping it to your phone or even better: put your phone somewhere where you would have to stand up to shut it off, and place your dream journal on top of it.

35 all the time. They often get quite offended when I tell them in my dreams lol

i used my phone for a while, and so i immediately was able to write it down. but i realized that it probably wasnt a good idea to have the phone next to me while i sleep…

Use a physical journal, I find the effect is stronger when I write them by hand. And a pro tip: write anything that should have made you realize that you were dreaming in bold or highlight it or underline, something to make it stick out. Then read over it again before you go to bed and note these things to use for MILD as you fall asleep

Plus there’s less temptation to just go on your phone and not do it.
