All they do is censor us here. I'm going to complain. Oooooh, Miiiiissster Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaahl...they're stopping me from cussing and flaming everybody. Why is everyone so mean to me? 😥 It's the same as when I play a game of chess. All my opponents do is attack me. It's just not fair.

Bela and Victor, the Greatest Bass Player in the World, since I retired, with a nod to Jaco, but he's dead. Tal Wilkenfeld and Oteil Burbridge are the other two incredible bass players on this planet. They were all students of mine, even Jaco, but he's dead. Didn't even give me backstage passes when they got big. Oh well. I guess a lot of Chess coaches feel the same way. Met Oteil when he was with Captain Beefheart. Great guy. He didn't seem to remember that I used to be his teacher, but you know those crazy musicians.

@idilis Got me, I didn't know anything about them. I started trying to see if any Punk Rock bands had any Magic songs and somehow in my search # 220 popped up.

As an old codger I depend on my younger friends to turn me on to the new good music. I don't hear that much that I really enjoy, but there's quite a lot on here that I had no idea about. Living in Austin means that I can go hear original live music almost whenever I want. We don't even listen to the radio. Thanks again.

I don't know if @idilis made this game up on his own or saw and copied it from somewhere else, but this is my favorite game on the internet after chess. I listen to the tunes while searching. I'd never heard the smooth jazz of Grover Washington Jr, Mr. Magic # 128 and really enjoy it, a lot of good tunes on here...and a few cringey one's too. I like Pete Townsend's solo performance of, Magic Bus # 138 and Olivia Newton John's performance # 9.
There's a second game started now, Animal & Nature Themed Songs (link below). I posted an explanation of how to post the music videos on there # 12. That post theme will run into hundreds of songs easy. Animal as a subject would have been plenty, but Nature threw the door wide open!
With your music background you should have a blast! One warning, chess.com will only let you post 5 links in a row and then you get a red banner warning to stop.
