Well, guess I'll express my thoughts and get insulted. I think the mods and admins have had a discussion about all these racing threads and have decided to allow them. It's been going on for months and the mods aren't blind or stupid or lazy. Have you tried submitting a report? I mean using the customer report email and not posting angry threads filled with insults. A thread like this won't make you a moderator and I wouldn't support you as one. You're just as mean spirited as a lot of other people are.

Edit: Checked the report spam thread, David said the racing threads weren't actionable so there you go. They're here to stay. Guess you better learn how to ignore them like the rest of us.

Plus you called kids "parasites" and "stupid". This is a kid friendly site. If you hate kids so much why would you bother becoming a mod? (Additionally I don't think mods want someone who calls kids that. Try to check your words seriously.) These threads are gonna exist and if you cant get that through your extremely biased head you should get off the forums in general.

You also mentioned that these "parasites" are using the forums incorrectly. You have ruined forum games multiple times and I have proof. In the king of the hill forum you kept complaining that it was "childish" and kept insulting the people playing. Sounds like using a forum incorrectly to me.

My final statement is that this site is for everyone. Not just serious players. Your goal is to get people in. Honestly if you manage to do whatever you are planning, chess.com will actually lose more users than gain. Mods, if your somehow reading this, please don't make him a moderator. This is for all the users and sites good.

If you are into 2Qpoopoo making 20 idiotic threads every day with pics of oiled male torsos (he is a big fan of the ultimate in plonk posting) then let staff know you want him for mod. If you like seeing posting rules broken every minute, then Pashak for mod. If you are a grumpy old man that doesn't like kids, then Pashak for mod.

Fact is that chess.com has a special place for kids named chesskid.com. 

This site is for adults and for normal discussions, not for idiotic threads like Race to 100 and so on. 

Those threads are embarrassing to the site, and so are all the people that support that garbage and actively take part on that.

You are either too young, or just too dumb to realize that this forum is a complete kindergarten and it is absolutely embarrassing. It really amazes that you don´t understand how damn stupid are your conversation topics. 

I have been in many different forums about very different things, and all of them have an ¨Off Topic subforum¨, but this is the first place where I see that the Off Topic section is such a mess. 

If staff wants to keep allowing that kind of rubbish, Ok, but then make a new subforum called ¨The Wasteland¨ or ¨The KIndergarten¨ where they can happily play those silly ¨games¨ and talk about kitties and superheros and all that childish stuff. I promise that I will not bother them in that place. 

But this subforum is suppossed to be a place where rational people talk about rational things. 

The ¨Race to 100: Pencil vs Eraser¨ is really a whole new level of idiocy and it should not be allowed by any means.

No, it is not only about the Race to 100 threads. 

Race to 100 is just one example of the garbage that exists here. 

There are many other absolutely childish and useless threads as well, and there is a LOT of spam. 

You can report it in the Report Spam HERE forum, which I see that you did. Somebody already brought that up, but staff said they couldn't deal with it. They specifically said that they can't babysit the forums. And I don't think you would want to either. Because I'm sure that somebody would create a new one for every one that you lock.

If they can´t do that or they don´t want to do that, I am offering to ¨baby sit¨ the forums. 

All the spam threads would get locked or deleted, and if spammers keep making new ones they would simply get muted or banned. Problem solved. 

That's sorta a good idea.

You aren't enjoying the responses you are getting in off-topic, so I suggest posting elsewhere.

I also think that having a thread to ask to be a moderator isn't the best way of asking. I think your best option would be messaging @erik.

Of all the little kids, you are probably the less annoying one. Take that as a compliment.
