I wouldn't know... These are like Revali from BOTW, but in TOTK, right? I personally dislike the Goron ability in BOTW, but I haven't tried TOTK's.
I played way too much age of calamity. 100%ed that one (it's not nearly as hard) and grinded out perfect weapon for my favorite characters. It was a good time, but I stopped playing because nothing could really stand a chance.
!!!HOT TAKE ALERT!!!
aside from that, those have to be the most recent. if your criteria is heavy in content and open world, then yeah, none come close, except maybe Windwaker and
I haven't played wind waker, head it really good though. I played a few hours of skyward sword but was too linear.
Yeah, but it's a bit less fun to not have to distance from attacks if you can just tank a fat hit instead.
I used it in master mode until I learned how to parry again.

It's great, but not very similar to the BOTW series. If you like ocarina of time, then this is for you.

have you tried Armourless + Base health? it's TOUGH. I couldn't barely get past the Great Plateau without dying x.x
I got the upgraded master sword the moment I could, then used the sword beam (uses no durability!) instead of arrows because I love hoarding materials an wanted 999 of all the arrows. I'm still grinding guardian arrows.

I did that on master mode. I only died once to the frozen river because I was good at avoiding fights. I died a few times after the great plateau, mostly from random arrows and thunderblight.
