I think 2=original square’s side length x 0.7^ 0 + …original square’s side length x 0.7^ (n-1).
Basically the whole thing keeps going until it reaches the last square.
N is the number of times the process is repeated.
I know it’s a serious mathematical term. It’s a Greek letter. I’ve used it, but only in very basic problems.

Fourth graders could be taught things they aren’t, though. All of us could be ahead by two years, at the very least, if the education system was improved.
