Since you are very good at math what is 10^(-infinity)?
The limit of 1/10^x as x goes to infinity is zero. This is basic enough that many people learn it in high school... uh... I think. Maybe first year of college. Either way, I probably learned this before you were born... lol.
I have no credentials in Math.
If you do, then you should be ashamed.
Yeah, people with a math degree are right up there with adulterers, serial killers, and people who put the toilet roll on backwards.
Nope, kinda funny but no.
I meant if; you had a Math degree you should be ashamed of yourself for posting such nonsense!
Says the kid who just recently learned about complex numbers and infinity, and is so excited about these new ideas that they post about it everywhere.
When do kids normally learn this... I guess you're what? 17 or 18 years old?
But a 17 year old wouldn't be so silly... so maybe your older sibling is learning about them, or maybe you're a curious 14 year old who saw a video about infinity online... I'm leaning towards something like that.
What's your fasination with Kids? It's disgusting, Sir.
You've provided as much proof that I am a minor, as anything else you have posted.
As I've previously said disprove one of my posts, line by line, or go away.
I posts my Math's for mental exercises, and feedback. I am very secure my posts will not be disproven.
(1/0) can be classified as "Absolute Infinity" as it is equivalent to infinity,
Not only is this nonsense, a few posts later I showed why 1/0 is undefined. It can be infinity, zero, or any number.

In other words, I already did this, and you're too young (mentally or chronologically) to give a proper response.

Post them on a math forum, this is a chess website.

You sort only have not proven that 1/0 is equal to 0. Anymore than you have proven I am a Juvenile.

Nope, this Forum is named "Off Topic" for a reason. To post this stuff on say "General" would be inappropriate.
More BS from you.
1/0 can be equal to both infinity and negative infinity. 1/0.1 = 10 1/0.01 = 100 and so on. As it approaches zero the number grows to infinity. Same goes with negative numbers. -1/0.1 = -10 -1/0.01 = -100 ......... This is why it is said to be undefined.
only fools believe in completed infinity.
Academia and the general informed public believe in expressions like 1/0 approaching infinity.
completed infinity makes logical conundrums

Yes as x approaches 0 from the right, 1/x shall approach infinity. And as x approaches 0 from the left 1/x shall approach -infinity.
Showing 1/0 is not a number.
While 0/0 is any number as 0 goes into 0 any number of times.

The collateral conjecture...unsolved math problem. Has to do with sequences of integers where the next term is obtained from the previous term. If previous term is even, then use n/2. If previous term is odd, then use 3n+1. The conjecture then says the sequence will always reach 1.
