Hey guys you should take this free fun test on Mensa and post your score here. You can find the test http://www.mensa.org/index0.php?page=12 here.

"Your score was 27 out of 30. That is an excellent score—you would have a very strong chance of passing the Mensa test and joining Mensa.

Please note that the Mensa Workout is NOT the official Mensa test, and your score will not qualify or disqualify you for membership."

I almost got 28 but I was tricked Yell.

It will be interesting to see the scores, as chess players are generally viewed as a pretty smart bunch.

Haha thats too bad, but its cool that you were invited to join. I might end up joining some time or other myself, but probably not for atleast another month.

I got a 27/30, but almost came on 28. As a side note, I am relatively new to chess.

I got 25/30. I think it is a pointless test. It just tests how much you know. Someone who took lots of math classes would have an advantage over someone who is reasoning the stuff out for the first time. The test measures how much you've accomplished, not how much you can figure out given the same amount of information.

I easily did all the math and spacial problems. The reading comprehension tests should have been easy for anyone. I was not able to unscramble words.

I would not join the club even if I passed. It think it is just a feel good club. A truer test of intelligence is how much money you make. I'm surprised they did not put a chess puzzle on there: checkmate in 10. The questions only have value to people how like to study those topics. Most people don't play chess, but those who do would have a huge advantage if that was a question.

Again: I would not give someone points for solving a chess puzzle. I'd give them points if they could win a game. Anyone can specialize. It is the winners who are intelligent.
