Also once I had just finished an art project, this huge painting of a nighttime landscape. I sent a photo of it to my friend, and she responded with one word. “Cute”. Like I’m some kind of child who scribbled out a picture of a cat. It might not seem too bad, but the way she meant it was so patronising. I mean, come on!
