We had one positive comment about Sinatra and one negative.  Although it's probably true his version of some tunes was  not always on target, his voice and musical range was outstanding.  He did hundreds and hundreds of ballads but also did uptempo material as well.  Every time it looked like he was finished as a recording artist he would make a comeback.  I'm a big fan.

Hugh:  Do you have a favorite Zepplin album?  they were outstanding.

Absolute no-no: Sinatra. Nobody mangles a song like Frank.

Frank did not mangle songs, he changed the phrasing to bring new flavor to the songs!  Just like a remix would be like today, it takes more talent to sing a song a different way well, than to sing it the same way its always been sung!!  The same think with Nat King Cole!!!

Hutter. Sade AND the sex pistols. I used to hate Sade, i thought it was wine bar music. Thats some diverse taste you have there. Fair play!

No one has listed a country artist.  There has to be SOME country fans on the site; although I must say I'm not one of them.

Ok, I'll retract my previous answer & say that Woody Guthrie & Hank Williams (Sr) are cool. Does that count? If you're thinking of Garth Brooks & all that type of thing, I can't condone it.
