See what is his ELO level at chess.com, so play with a bot of the same level.
For example.
I can defeat Nelson, The Bot (1300).
So, a good strategy to you defeat me is to learn how to play against a 1300 bot.
Considering also that your dad should be aged 30-45 ( is he?) and often he will not want to play or even lose due to problems that occur in his work. These days it is good for you to let him win, to help him psychologically.
