What kind of muffins was she baking? I've been wanting to make either huckleberry muffins or pancakes, but it's not easy finding good fresh huckleberrys.
Muffins…
You watch in the kitchen as your grandma pulls out a tray of muffins from the oven.
Your mouth waters just looking at the muffins.
Your grandma then takes the back side of her hand & gently pats down on the top of the muffins,
"Are they moist?" your grandma asks, "Do you think they're moist?" You see spit come out of her mouth when she talks. "Do you think they feel moist enough?" Your old grandma asks again, while patting down on the muffins with the backside of her hand.
"Do you think they're moist enough?" She asks you
"Are they moist?" More spit flies out of her mouth as she asks the question
"They feel moist" Your grandma says, as she once again pats the top of them with the back of her hand.
Time to eat.
