my phone isn’t responding help

This is the second time this has happened, I can’t unlock it, I can only use the side buttons and Siri but Siri is useless because it always asks me to unlock my iPhone before I do literally anything the last time this happened I had to wait a month to get the screen repaired and it’s only been 2 months 😭 I think I should just get a new phone but I need a second opinion first please help

I just got a message from my service provider saying that i can get a new iPhone 12 if i stay with them for another year I was gonna use them anyways but i think problem solved I’m calling them from my iPad rn

Hold down until it turns off there's a bypass if you hold it long enough
Shut it down then restart

And the side button opens Siri, which doesn’t let me do anything without unlocking my phone, which I can’t do
