When I was in highschool (34 now), they banned people from wearing sweat pants because they didn't look appropriate for "a professional school environment"... So the day the ban started a huge group of guys came to school in the nicest suits, pressed, hats, suitcases, looking aces!! Was quite funny.

Chess is stereotypically nerdy, so not many people play it, especially not a bunch of self conscious high-schoolers like myself, so it goes under the radar. Stuff like discord and YouTube are banned, but I find it odd that someone reported chess.com of all things.
