ok game starts
m1m1 tried undenting his dagger, but he basically ends up denting it a lot more, to the point of uselessness

Rebending a dagger does not unbend it. It is now in that position forever. Bending it again in the opposite direction just breaks it. You’d have to melt it and put it in a mold to do so.

afterwards once I get the threads I make sure the door can't be opened with the threads while I check behind the mirrors, portraits, and basically ransack the room. If there's a mirror I carefully break the glass and take a piece
use the dagger+string to wedge the door

then I check to see if there is any wood in the cabin, if there is, I take that, if not, then I chip some of the wood from the walls (assuming it's wooden, right?) for tinder
