NAME THIS TREE (IF YOU CAN).🌳🌴🌲

Sort:
Pegusu

This tree is in my front yard. It’s the larger tree in the back. Can you name it? It’s a VERY unusual tree, don’t you think? (Picture has been removed for security reasons).

Pegusu

Yes, the tree species.

It looks like it might fall on your house someday I hope your insurance policy covers that
Mike_Kalish

I would name it "Woody".

Yes, my insurance covers it - we’ve lived here for 20+ years and it’s stood firm - dropped a few small branches here and there, but that’s it. Do you have any idea what kind of tree it is? My neighbor told me today that he finds it “bizarre, unique and beautiful.”

Yes, but can you identify the tree? I sure can’t.

I'll give you a hint - it's two well-known trees seen all over the USA that have gotten "married." Yes, they have fused together and become one tree.

……one that got out of control , due to an overdose fertiliser ! 🙀

Wow that’s so odd! Sorry I thought you were asking what type of tree it was and that you didn’t know lol. I have no guesses I know nothing about trees

My husband INSISTED on planting one of the trees right next to the other tree. I said "aren't they going to crowd each other?" He(the former botany major!) said "No, this tree grows REALLY slowly - they'll be fine." Actually, the shorter tree has straightened up the taller tree - it used to lean more.

It fits right in with our property where MANY odd things happen every day!
