It’s revealed earlier in the forum - It’s a bottlebrush tree fused with an oak tree. The bottlebrush tree was fully grown before the oak tree was planted.

I had that problem. The trunk is close to sycamore but the limbs don't branch like a sycamore. The leaves are too small for sycamore but ours don't have leaves at all yet so I couldn't judge by that. I cheated with a search on trees with sycamore type trunks and came up with the London plane-tree guess.
