Hey guys did you know this?
If you ever add metal to water you would get a metallic oxide and hydrogen.
Eg - 2Na+2H2O⟶2NaOH+H2
As we all know hydrogen is combustible, so if you light a matchstick and hover it over the products, you would hear a pop sound which is hydrogen combusting.
Also NaOH is basic in nature so if you mix it with an acid you would receive water and salt. Eg - NaOH + HCl ⟶ NaCl + H2O
Do you guys want to know about helium hydride?
