"Wrongly", even. It's an adverb. Just sayin' .
Naughty , perverted and non naughty perverted... Locked forums

You guys know me by now I word things wrong and spell things wrong some times I am getting better. Just as long as you can understand my thoughts behide my words it will be ok.

For the record I drop out of the tenth grade with a six grade education and I also have dyslexia. My mind works backwords. I was in the ninth grade and could not spell shoe. I have done a lot better the last four years.

Threads get locked rather than deleted because they can serve as illustrations as to what is and what is not acceptable in the forums, unless the moderators believe the thread has gotten completely out of hand.
Yes, there was a complaint lodged about that thread, and as the moderator said, they locked it while it was being discussed within the Moderator team: I suspect we will need to escalate it with site management for an ongoing ruling, but as I don't think it crosses any existing guidelines. I will unlock the thread. I have, however, deleted what I considered to be the most marginal picture in that thread. Please note, though, that the Terms of Service does specify that content can be removed if they violate the Terms of Service "or is otherwise objectionable" - so it doesn't have to be covered by the ToS for the moderators to act on it.
The forums are a more public and visible location than blogs or photo albums, and are not moderated as closely. Having said that, photo albums are not part of V3 anyway, and when that becomes the only version of the site, all photo albums will vanish; if you want to keep that content, you should probably copy & save it to an image sharing site like Imgur, flickr, Jing, deviantart or any one of several others out there.

Can you imagine the chaos?
Give the OP options to delete their own thread, delete comments (after mod aproval), basically give members administrative rights? brigatine says it's common sense. LMAO
As if "trolls" don't already wreck havoc.
Start a thread ? Think 1st baby. There's no going back, nor should there be.

lol...c
Fair is fair right? and then maybe they can delete our avatars afterward and give us Lego avatars?
Sounds good to me .

A thread i started almost 2 years ago about Lego Avatars:
https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/lego-type-avatars

May be I did not explane my words and thoughts right. I started a thread on open topic chess.com forums not a team froum. And it was not a good thread. So only chess.com can delete it. It taken me years to ask chess.com to delete it and they did. I just wish after I made the forum I could of deleted the forum a few seconds later. This is why I do not put forums on the chess.com forums only on the teams. Becuse if you type it wrong or it is a bad idea it is there till chess.com can erase the forum for you.

They do delete when asked to.
Well then I am asking to have Houswife's deleted. Let's see how THAT goes.
That content is not likely to get deleted, because it is visible only to the friends of @housewife07 and hence effectively private.

...or into a blog.

Exactly. Think before creating a thread, otherwise everybody would create them willy-nilly then erase them.
Or worse, create threads that intentionally break the TOS, then delete them shortly thereafter.
Can't have OP editing the title, now can we? Completely changing the title would be heaven to some.

Just writting my last few post I had to go back and recorrect what I said I do this alot over the years. I am getting better what used to take me a hour to write some thing before I post it it takes me a short time now.

" maybe they can delete our avatars afterward and give us Lego avatars". When ever I'm NOT in these naughty, perverted forums,, I'm playing with my Legos.

Even the Legos CAN'T talk about Chess.
