Don't go to a big city. At all. If there are no good resources in ur small town then maybe seek out a medium town if ur planning to move away. There are churches that are well connected with finding help. There will be many that instinctively will be more sympathetic and willing to help due to ur age. But definitely stay away from big cities.
need help with homelessness
doors open longer when you offer back too
you say churches locally have some help in place , a great way of thanking them threefold is to volunteer , for example offering to help wash up after theyve fed everyone , show that good side of yourself it will be noticed
you will feel good about yourself ,knowing you have things to offer too , and link closer to help that awaits those who want to add not just take
there was three of us all skippering out in charing cross , safety in numbers , one day a lass from the coffee shop opposite bought us out 3 coffees , i turned to the other two and asked them for 1.50 each i chucked in two quid , this bought chocolates which got given to her as a thankyou
the lad who gave her them got a date , they moved in together and he found work ,
after that day we would get inundated with sandwiches cakes etc whatever the coffee shop hadnt sold , so much food but we distributed what we couldnt eat to others in the same boat and london has alot of homeless
two small gestures , 3 coffees and a box of chocolates , and barriers disappear
one of my fave songs , its a bit emotional but its the song it gets you
