They use to be complicated people, indeed...

McVeigh was reprimanded by the military for purchasing a "White Power" T-shirt at a Ku Klux Klan protest against black servicemen who wore "Black Power" T-shirts around the army base" (Wikipedia)
You could say that he was just "making a point" about how offensive it is that black servicemen were doing it...
But I think it goes beyond that. I would be offended to see "Black Power", "Female Power" "Asian Power"....it doesn't matter....
But going to a KKK rally is telling of something more

Anyway bigpoison,
there are things that I believe in -
God
Climate change is man-made
Eating chemicals causes cancer...
A whole bunch of stuff I believe in that I don't need "proofs" for

Your question doesn't make sense.
His idealogy of white supremacy may have pushed him to mass murder...

You don't have to make these wild suppositions. McVeigh, himself, explained what drove him to mass murder.
Anyway, it's neither here nor there and is a depressing conversation, so I'm off to try to catch the sun in flight.
Keep smilin' 'Leopard.

Just one thing, bigpoison...I'm not making any wild suppositions:
In the very link you yourself provided is writtten:
The Turner Diaries is a novel written in 1978 by William Luther Pierce (former leader of the white nationalist organization National Alliance) under the pseudonym "Andrew Macdonald". The Turner Diaries depicts a violent revolution in the United States which leads to the overthrow of the United States federal government, nuclear war, and, ultimately, to a race war leading to the extermination of all groups deemed by the author as impure such as Jews, gay people, and non-whites.The book was called "explicitly racist and anti-Semitic" by The New York Times and has been labeled a "bible of the racist right" by the Southern Poverty Law Center
The novel has been associated with a number of real-life violent crimes committed by white separatists and other radicals. Two pages of the book containing a scene depicting preparations for the bombing of the J. Edgar Hoover Building, the FBI national headquarters, were found in the getaway car of Timothy McVeigh, the perpetrator of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995

What? It's night here. So it was true Earth is a sphere?
So, they say pulpofeira LOL...
I have not proven it to myself yet!...I'd have to walk from point A in one direction and end up at point A again on this planet to prove to myself that the earth is round. Seeing as that's never gonna happen, guess I'll just take the world's word for it.

I am sometimes surprised that the swastika was the Nazi symbol, because it was originally a Buddhist symbol, and Buddhists do not hate. When reading certain Buddhist documents and books, I spot that swastika and wonder why they (the fascists) chose to steal a symbol of supposed peace and apply it to their hatred.

Nomadic Knight, you make the point that some of these symbols were "borrowed" from more ancient cultures. That is true, but in doing so, they have become wedded with infamy.

There will always be polarisation of opinions, surely we can't expect every single human being to follow a single way of life, thought and practice. We all find different things vulgar, atrocious, unacceptable, this has and will always happen as long as we live. There will always be a troublesome idea or group of people who wish to unbalance your world.
How we live together in a society is intriguing, it's just like an arena mostly filled with dullards and sheep. Some of us a combination of the two.

A few of these people with Nazi-related avatars (images of Hitler, swastikas, etc) claim they are from Germany. Where, if I am not mistaken, such displays, and the Holocaust denial that goes with it, are criminal offenses.

HOLY.......apparently there are bigoted, supremacist players on a site only dedicated to chess. Thanks guys and girls for condemning this abhorrent form of belief.

A lot of pedophiles don't come out and say they are pedophiles...I imagine a lot of white supremacists don't come out and proclaim themselves who they are also.
