It's pretty cold here in NJ as well right now (49 degrees). But I've been waiting 6 or 7 months for the cold weather and the dark clouds. I hate the heat. Except for allergies, I love this time of year.
New low

We're hitting low 30's now, still waiting for the first rain. We can do with a good old Highveld thundershower.

Neutral Switzerland
_We have spring, summer, late summer, and a bit chilly (its 70 degrees right now).

I know there are some parts of Switzerland that are considerably warmer than my area-- Sault Ste. Marie's (Michigan) average annual temperature is 39.7 F (4.3 C), and Geneva's is 57.9 F (14.4 C).

I'd be really unhappy to be experiencing 91 F in October! My brain and body pretty much shut down in anything above the low 80s, especially if it's humid heat. I just about died each summer when I lived in Ann Arbor, which isn't exactly the deep south, but they still get plenty of super-humid days in the 90s.

I think I'd like Seattle. It doesn't get as cold as I like (I like to have a legitimate winter), but I love rain. I don't like sunlight in the summer unless I'm taking pictures.

What a difference a day makes! Last night I posted that there hasn't been a freeze here yet, and now a day later at 6:36 a.m. (still 62 minutes until sunrise) there's a nice hard freeze underway at 26.8 F and still slowly dropping. Forget that equinox stuff, with the appearance of the first solid water, the fall season has now begun!

I am shivering here with a sweatshirt on. It's 49 degrees here right now but it feels like 32 to me just because I am sick. I love the cold weather LOL

You're in a country that reaches +50 C, and here at my house two winters ago I had 8 nights that dipped below -29 C . Aren't we the clever species to be able to adapt to such a range of conditions!
It's 6:49 a.m. at my locale, and my wireless outdoor thermometer is reporting 36.5 F (2.5 C), which is a new seasonal low. Still no freezes yet this fall, though. How about the rest of you? How is spring shaping up on the upside-down part of the planet?
