Pls help im a beginner and i cant win any game
Just Finding it hard to checkmate. I always end up doing a stalemate which is annoying as I have managed to put them into the corner...just dunno how to checkmate.

I just have to say one thing. It may seem stupid but it works for me.
If you can put them into a corner already then all you have to do is just randoms check, stalemate is impossible to be the outcome of the game if you keep giving random checks in the endgame.

just had my first lesson today with @jerry_h it felt really nice to be a part of the class I thoroughly enjoyed it learnt a few new moves and new way to approach situations as a beginner I say I learnt quite a bit today and yet I have a lot to learn and I can't wait to learn more

I had my first lesson and has become an 856 already and is climbing the rating ladder exceptionaly fast.

I had my first lesson with Jerry on Wednesday. It went really well. We played a short game where I talked through moves and then we covered openings. Then we looked at some puzzles and Jerry played a bot talking through each move. The time went really fast. I think this is really going to help me long term.
