Nintendo Switch 2
Stocks are nose diving because of these stupid tariffs and now the Switch 2 pre-orders are delayed and most likely be more expensive.
How come every YouTuber who watched the direct thought it was the cow from moo moo meadows? It was in moo moo farm in mariokart 64 first
Mario Kart World looks goated
They are also making a new GameCube controller for it, and a bunch of switch 1 games are moving over
They are adding proximity chat to their games
MKW will also be open world/ free roam
I got my Switch christmas of 2022, I ain't buying this yet (I used to have an XBOX360, but it got RROD'd)
I say wait for a price drop at least.
I keep writing essays for forums, sorry.
Agreed (139). The $450 price tag is crazy. And the possibly $80-$90 per game card is just as bad. The most expensive Switch game I've seen was $70, which is still pretty high. The way the Joy-cons attach to the switch by a chip (if I saw that correctly in the trailer. But, in the direct, they said it is by a magnet. If it IS by a magnet and not a chip, ignore what I'm about to say.) I feel like that could break really easily. And the fact that the chip is attached to the switch instead of the Joy-Con would probably mean you either
A- had to buy a new Switch because the chip broke.
B- get it repaired and pay way too much.
or C- no easy handheld mode for us.
I think it would be better for the chip to be in the actual Joy-con, and you just stick something onto the Joy-con. Like the things you attach to your wrist while you play a game with the Joy-cons detached from the console for the Switch.
But, I feel like the fact that they are making more and more stuff require the online payment thing isn't fair. Yeah, it's nice that they let you do the chat room thing for almost a year, but when that year ends, I feel like it's just going to cause more people to buy the online pass so they can continue to chat with their friends on a single device while playing a game. I think the only online games I have that DON'T require the payment to play with others are Ninjala and Fortnite out of Super Mario Maker 2, Mariokart 8D, Puyo Puyo Tetris, maybe Treasure Tracker Toad and LEGO Worlds. Which, I wouldn't play online that much anyways, but I feel like you shouldn't have to pay to play.
Going back to the direct where they were talking about the expansion things for Switch games (better graphics, audio, etc..) I didn't notice a difference in the Zelda (I talk a lot about Zelda, I get it, I'm sorry) games they showed. Except for the brightness. I feel like the loading pace doesn't really matter, I like to take a moment to look at the tips anyways. They look and sound exactly the same for me. Maybe my eyeballs are truly that awful, or my financial lit. class is worth it. The Zelda Notes app does seem useful though, even if you have to use social media to use it with other players. Especially for those who are struggling with Korok Seeds along with me. I am glad to see they are moving some of the series from Switch over to Switch two, though. I just wish it was all of them, after all, the cards all have the same build.
