Perhaps for now.  Sooner or later though you will want the truth, no matter what is it.

I like that post and that rings true. We can't have peace without truth can we?

People say the answer is to stop seeking. I rather like the idea of finding the truth myself.

My mum talked about having a profound spiritual experience as a child. She said she knew that everything is one and that there is no death and that everything is alright.

She told me that she studied for years all sorts of texts to make sense of her experience and finally gave up because she never could find anything that brought her new insight in terms of explaining her experience.

maybe eventually I'll see clearly at some point whether or not I accept I've found the truth. I'd love you to take a look at the what are we? The solution thread buddy.

I feel I have one truth at least. That everything is natural and not divine. I have seen enough now that for myself the issue is obsolete.

Here's the thing about not knowing:

tom... it applies to everyone in your situation. ..

You do not know that you do not know the answers you seek.

Everything is not natural you fool. Man makes a whole lotta stuff. "Natural" is of/from nature. By definition man made things are not natural. This crap of not being "devine" is of your own confused/misguided unknowing mind that has absolutely nothing to do with natural things.

"What are we: the solution" tom states his conclusion. ..

everything is natural. Last go around it was everything is love. Soon his new thread "Everything is Everything" coming to a theater near you.

Tom is so far out there in the ozone, he can't be a troll can he ? (In the traditional sense he's aware of his nonsense?)

Tom please do not  paraphrase me or use anything I have previously written. Invariably you tend to get it entirely wrong or add things which I originally did not say at all.

You have done the same thing to other people too.

Trying to find peace when you have a constant dialogue going in your head cannot be accomplished. When you have an endless conversation with yourself, (It's only with yourself, because you're not listening or understanding anything anyone else has said), asking the same question over and over, answering in 10 different ways, but coming around again to the same beginning....trying to find peace in the midst of all that is impossible. Impossible. No peace, ever. That is why people are criticizing you.

If you truly learned to calm your mind and meditate every day, after six weeks you will begin to find the peace you endless ask for. This forum is the silliest place to be, which makes me wonder if you don't really have some agenda.

Tom you also said somewhere in the numerous threads you've created, that an ocean can drown a child and a person will murder a child and basically both incidences is the same thing. No, no it isn't. Not by a light year is it the same. (Of course, I paraphrased your idea.)

Nobody here is truly smart. We are all ignorant. It's just that tom is more ignorant on all things than anybody can imagine.

People post learned information on the topic. Good insights both pro and con.

Toms input is superfluous, never taken by anyone as meaningful. I joke about all the contradictions, tell tom to seek help and all that bs. Do I really care? Of course not. It is quite amazing to witness such a confused, befuddled mind that outwardly appears as sincere, but lives in such deep denial it's a fascinating psychological study to watch.

Definitely OCD. At times tom recognizes the disorder, but typically he is unable to control it. Has no desire to as he has found peace and is happy in his current state. Other days he'll lash out at myself and others. Thing with tom, everyday is a new day, never know what we'll get. He has either solved the meaning of life or concluded to observe only, as "solving" is a waste of his time.

Thank you for the posts .

Wolfbird you say find the answers through your meditation rather than your thinking because thinking can't bring new information .

Well meditation isn't a combination of people .

By the way I'm still not sure I'm not meditating whatever any of you guys say .

Md I'm tired of the whole you're not okay I'm okay argument . However you feel about me you're welcome to feel it . There are more important things in my life to concern me. I wish you luck though . If I'm honest I would prefer not to receive your vitriolic abuse but what can I person do?

Avatar of tomtrytostay

I'm just interested in the subjects and I like company . I'm sorry if anyone doesn't like me or enjoy me but if they feel like that and want to discuss the subject without me then of course they are free to start a forum themselves . It's generally my own forums I post profusely on .

Avatar of tomtrytostay

I'm just remembering I once posted on someone else's thread and md launched into such a vitriolic attack . I can't believe that you guys can't see what a vitriolic bully he is . Still . Like I say I'm glad he's treated far better than he treats me .

Avatar of tomtrytostay

Anyway enough about me. I'm interested in the topic . I do like the company though I'm not going to pretend about that .
