So you're saying if you're enlightened you live in permanent bliss ! I like that idea !
I'm not sure that's a healthy thing though .
I read about some people that were supposedly enlightened .
One was a mother who's child had died and she was perpetually sunny . I think that might be a struggle for the other relatives involved .
I tend to think Estren was about right when he talked of acknowledging emotions like hate exist but not attaching to them .
Saying all that I get that we can accept and come to terms with the world .
I think actually I do experience no thought and bliss .
This bliss though I'd describe as feeling love.
And yet I never hear anyone talk about the experience of being love , which is a genuine surprise to me .
I certainly get that to relax is good for us . I presume though that the whole meditation nirvana thing is more than that .
Many people relax with Frank Sinatra and a glass of whisky but I doubt that's meditation .
Unless you mean that the relaxation is so profound it changes how we think about ourselves and our lives .
