Find out what makes you depressed and go on from there

Well that depends. For example if you are depressed after a break up you need to find out what about your relationship broke you so hard. Honestly I forgot what I usually say so you win

seek professional help. find something that brings you joy. are you mourning over a relationship, dead family member? don't try to let go of the grief - find a way to just kind of keep going with it. find a way to get through each day, little by little. never struggled w/serious depression myself but it helped to just block everything out. like watch a movie, entertain yourself. I mean idk

Actual depression is a two week long period of feeling no emotion. In this case your life is not feeling fulfilling to you at the moment as #3 stated hobbies are a good thing. Friends and pastimes are good too but in this weakens state of mind it’s important not to cling to hard onto these hobbies as that will lead to other problems

depressed for what reason? just because you're unmotivated to get up for the day?

if that is the reason, then I don't know. motivate yourself. find something you enjoy and promise yourself a treat or something when you do it.

Talk to a trusted adult. Get professional help. Get off otf

#14 socializing is a very good thing during these times. I don’t know if completely going of otf is a good idea unless it’s the problem

Being on otf is not socializing

#20 not to be rude but depressed is a bit to big of a term most likely.
Avatar of OneThousandEightHundred18

#21 is prime example of why you should get off otf

#22 the only right answer in this thread. No one else needs to post. This is the perfect summary

#23 overstatement would’ve worked better. But I stand with my claim. I have no context on their situation therefore I cannot judge them fairly.
