I just make a story out of the patterns. I'm litterly sitting there saying this out loud every time I went through that long pattern...

cha cha
to the center of the dance floor
sail around the world
through the tube
return voyage
snake snake
mirror cap
blastoff

etc

Wait, didn't you say 300, then you edit it to 550?

And even if not, you're just some bored troll, I don't believe you for a second.

By the way, when I was just randomly trying the sequence thing I think I got 8. When I made a story out of it I got bored at 54.

It's a well known memory technique, sometimes called the memory palace. People use it to do memory feats like memorize a deck (or multiple decks) of playing cards at memory competitions.

In fact I think I can still remember it...

I was stuck at sub-100 for a while before using this technique.
