---   Well we could ask that question of so much of the stupidity that takes place on this little planet. And yet humans insist that they have these " Huge Brains "  lol.

For years we having hearing about the floating island of garbage out in the Pacific Ocean. This island is mainly made up of plastic waste and is now the size of France, Germany and Spain put together. I imagine that China might be interested in getting control of this area after all they have just been spending money to build new islands in the South-China Sea. I mean being able to control the new country of " Garbageland ", just perfect   lol.

So it seems like the other day the very bright Paris Hilton thought that she had lost her $2 million dollar engagement ring in a Miami nightclub ( it was found again later ). Am I the only person who would have laughed if that piece of jewelry had been flushed down the toilet ? And here I would be very nervous to wear a Rolex out in public, if I had one that is.

AlCzervik

$2 million ring?

yes, i would have laughed.

Thanks for the post AlCzervik.

Needless to say if I were up in the 1% group I would spend money like a drunken sailor as well. Perhaps some rare art or a small yacht, a few collector cars, a private plane etc etc, but $2 million for a ring, not very darn likely.

AlCzervik

i'm with you, baddy. i have never understood the allure of any jewelry.

badenwurtca

Thanks for the post AlCzervik.

PICKYOURPOCKET

I have a ring that is also a bottle opener.  Jewelry has its advantages.

and yes, it was a free purchase.

If you are thinking of going on a Safari to Africa be very careful. There is a new video going around where a Cheetah came right into the vehicle that was carrying the people. By good luck the Cheetah did not attack any of the people but chewed a little bit on a seat in the vehicle and the went to look for some lunch elsewhere. A bit of a close call there.

Good for the Cheetah...

Earlier I heard someone on the radio state now that driverless cars are under development the next step is to work on practical flying-cars. Interesting but that does bring up some important questions. For example how would they affect planes on an approach to a landing strip to an Airport ? We are already having problems with the little Quad-copters that people hare having some fun flying thru remote control. A four passenger flying-car is a lot larger than the average Quad-copter and certainly a flying car would be a very serious hazard to meet up with while a plane is on final approach.

I heard a self driven uber killed some lady recently..
