Odds & Ends ( Part II )

Thanks for the post Shadowcat. Yes I don't think that we can trust those sneaky robot-cars at all   lol.

I gather that the " Affluenza " kid is getting out of jail now. He was the guy who got drunk and then killed 4 people with his car. This kid got a short sentence by claiming that it was the fault of his parents as they spoilt him with too much money and a luxurious lifestyle. Some of these judges give out sentences like they are on drugs or something. 

So back in the day when pet-stores sold small turtles how many of the little critters did you have ? Well the other day I saw where someone was found to have nearly 10,000 turtles in their house on the Island of Madagascar. Mind you these turtles were not pets as they were a rare breed and were to be smuggled to other parts of the world. Can you imagine trying to feed and water all of those critters ? 

no, even though i regularly feed critters around my home. plus, turtles will outlive us.

If you happen to be walking around in Ohio and see a Amish horse and buggy nearby be very very careful. Recently police spotted a Amish buggy being driven in an erratic manner and found the operator was impaired after having consumed 10 Beers ( the horse pulling the buggy did seem to be sober however ). The buggy-driver did get into legal trouble with the Police but the horse was allowed to go home to the barn   lol.

From time to time we hear about odd court-cases that make no sense at all. Well it seems that a married couple in New York has had to go to court in order to get their 30 year old son evicted from their house. Whatever happened to the idea of just getting the door-locks changed and locking the lazy bum out of the house ?

The question of the day: " Is Nothing Sacred ? NOTHING ??? ". It seems that there is a recall of everyone's favourite luncheon meat, Spam. Yup some small metal parts have been found in a few tins of Spam and a recall was needed ( Oh the Shame, the Shame  lol).
