That’s where we have the problem.

Identifying as something doesn’t make it so and we, as a society, are enabling mental illness.

Is there anything else we can “identify” as and have society treat us as if we really are that thing?

If I identify as Native American...am I now Native American?

If I identify as a senator do I get a senate vote?

How about if I identify as a cop? Can I pull you over and give you a ticket?

If I identify as a senior citizen do I get to collect an early retirement?

Why is this ONE TINY FRAGMENT of self identity accepted while literally NO other form is?

And please...before some college yahoo comes in to tell me I don’t understand the difference between sex and gender....these people want to remove SEX from birth certificates.

They will TELL you it’s about gender but they’re lying to you.

Funny how they have to have a procedure for this...it's almost like it a regular occurrence and should be treated as normal/acceptable by people.

Easier to pretend I guess.  Hormone levels are on a spectrum, they are not completely pegged one way or another.  For those who are put upon about this by the frightened and squeamish who lash out at others to save their simple and ordered world, my recommendation is to point out their mother's post-menopause mustache.  That will sometimes freak them out enough to make then crawl back in their holes .

And certain activities, like sports, that were fought for and reserved for biological women DO NOT apply to them and they should not be allowed to engage in them....yes?

Well I like cats....

We often neuter cats against their will.

So if you identify as a cat....well

It’s subject is actually quite personal to me as I have a daughter who is a multi sport athlete and has worked extremely hard in both athletics and academics.

Now, in my insane state of New York, they want her to compete against biological boys pretending to be girls.

My daughter is a lifelong athlete in both wrestling and running a she KNOWS...beyond any SHADOW of doubt, that she has NO CHANCE against a biological boy.

In NO SPORT ON EARTH does a woman come CLOSE to the performance of men. This is not offensive it’s reality.

For gods sake the US women’s soccer team god destroyed by a bunch of 14 year old boys. And everyone who ever competed in anything knew it would happen.

It’s completely unfair and ridiculous to have a biological man simply decide he’s a female today and ruin the records of all the females he competes against.

We’ve embraces collective delusion as a society it’s absolutely bonkers.

If you want to live your life as the opposite sex more power to you. It’s a free country. But the rest of us shouldn’t be FORCED to believe you really ARE what you ‘identify’ as while every chromosome in your body says otherwise.

Damn soon we will accommodating insane people who claim they have invisible pet chickens. The rest of us will be forced to remain silent otherwise we will be charged with a hate crime for waking the invisible chicken.
