Why would anyone care? I admit, I skipped from page one to the last page of this thread, just to point out that 99.9% of people here don't care whether there are a thousand macers on chess.com.... whatever a macer is. Someone who... maces people? Whatever.

You don't understand, these people are impersonating the real macer75 and making him look like he's doing bad stuff, while people are getting confused. So the real macer decides to create a statement, just to clarify things. What would you think if someone made an account called reboc1 and said that you were a fake, and then they did all sorts of weird stuff like insulting and trolling, then people would think that you did it, because they would think that you were his account.
btw, its kinda obvious dat they are all macer cuz they were all posted in 1 hr time. without anybody else.

The problem with your analogy is, the other macers are different people with (nearly) the same name, as opposed to the same person with different names, which is what you're suggesting.
