Sad to hear that we lost Robin Leach recently ( age 76 ). He did the " Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous "TV series.

You know, I've been watching 'I Dream of Jeannie' on a British TV channel called 'Forces TV'. I think Barbara Eden was absolutely gorgeous.

Does anybody remember the big censorship issue with "I Dream of Jeannie?"  Besides some viewer groups' protests about this "female" living without benefit of marriage in a bachelor's apartment (oh, my!), her costume was scandalously skimpy!  It was the censors who kept the program G-rated by enforcing one rule:  Jeannie's costume could never show her navel.  And it never did, so that took care of that.  Because of that one rule, male viewers never found themselves feeling any physical attraction to Barbara..... oh, come on... who did the censors think they were kidding?

I remember that MIL. I think it was the Catholic Church that started the protest. I enjoyed admiring all her other belly-buttons.wink.png                                                                                                                                      null

Remember Honey West?........a dame with a gun.surprise.png                                                                                                                     null                                               I think she came on just before "77 Sunset Strip." with Efram Zimbalist Jr.

I do remember her -- and I agree: there is nothing like a dame -- especially one with a gun.  How about Maxwell Smart's "99?" And Diana Rigg in "The  Avengers?"

RonaldJosephCote

Many boys grew out of adolessants watching Diana Rigg....LOL. I also loved the theme song for "I Dream of Jeannie".

The Honeymooners. One of my favorites was the "Chef of the Future Episode" .

Here's one for you. I don't usually watch NCIS, but tonight I did. There was an actress I recognize as Maria Bello......so I googled her and sure enough, she joined the team last fall. I remember when she had her own show yrs ago. She played a gritty New York detective solving murders. Think......a female Kojak. Maybe someone else can remember the name of her show.

Thanks a lot for the new posts.

I like her in NCIS, and think I remember seeing her in ER, but I didn't remember her as a TV detective, so looked her ump -- Was it the 13 episode, 2011 series Prime Suspect?
